    MEDIA CENTER

The Media Center is a place to come with a purpose. The media specialists will assist students with research, selection of reading materials, and securing a quiet atmosphere conducive for learning.

The center is open daily from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students may use the center before or after school, but must have a note or pass from their teacher to use it during the school day.

Upon entering the center, students are expected to sign in at the circulation desk.

Each student is responsible for checking out library materials before leaving the media center. Failure to properly check out materials is an offense requiring disciplinary action and/or possible suspension of media-center priviliges.

The following materials may be checked out of the library:
  • Non-reference materials are available to be checked out for three (3) weeks and may be renewed as necessary.
  • Reserve and reference books may be checked out overnight at the end of the school day, but must be returned by 8:45 a.m. the following day.

The Media Center maintains a website that provides links to online catalogs and other sites to help students with research and papers, as well as other useful information.

No food or drinks are allowed in the media center. Trash is to be disposed of properly before leaving.

The copy machine is off limits for all students. Media specialists will make copies for students for 10 cents per copy.
